"Well... i would be... getting out of here" she said extremely fast and scoted around . "You going to just sit there?... c'mon" she earged and nudged his paw hoping he would come... She thought it less likely the lion would come after her if he was with her but she WAS doubting it. She took one last glance back before running as fast as her little legs would carry her, out of the clearing and into dense forest. 'thankgoodness that wolf thing told us' she thought while running. She was refering to Friesian. "hurry up" she yelled back to the wolf, hoping he was following... she knew some good hiding places.

K'tanaqui sighed then bounded forward exceedingly fast. Ducking and leaping over branches scattered along the forest bed, he quickly caught up with the cunning and agile fox and began to growl. "What was that about?" He panted, his tongue lolling out in semi-excitement. "Scared of a little bird?" he chuckled, but continued to follow.

"Didn't you see the wolfy thing that just jumped out and said there was a lion?!?!"..... "you must be death" she added, although she was allready panting. She refused to stop running until she found somewhere to hind. 'the beach' she though and her face lit up a bit 'lions don't like salt water!!! yes' she thought in victory and changed direction for the coast. Her paws started to get firmer as the salt air him her nose and it tingled as the sand got between her pads. They weren't far off now, 'i just hope its NOT following' she thought hushedly.

"Who'd be crazy enough to follow us..." The dog dismissed patiently. "And i am not deaf...But i did smell the lion..." K'tanaqui sighed and continued to follow the orange fox through the forest, his silver fur lighting up amazingly as sunlight struck it.

"What do you mean by that?" she asked, getting a bit impatient. She slowed down, panting out loud and stumbled onto the brisk white sand. "You ARE crazy... you couldn't scare a lion!?!?!" she sounded worried and didn't even care at the moment at the fact that this 'wolf' was actually preditor also. Now she was faced with a bigger one he seemed more like 'friend.

"It's a lion. They're slow and stupid..." he replied, chuckling. "Besides...we're smaller and can get through smaller gaps." he concluded. Slowing down, he tossed his head so his ear stayed up instead of flopping over his eyes, then began to catch up with the wily fox once more.

Kutni nodded slowely "i guess" she puffed. "You think he got that other wolf?" she asked with a bit of a worried tone. 'she helped alot' she turned to the forrest for a glance before flopping down apon the warm sand.

K'tanaqui cocked his head to the side, thinking. "I didn't actually see the other wolf..." he muttered anxiously.

"Blind too" joked Kutni. "She didn't quite look like a wolf though. Her face was slimmer and she was black with long fur and a... patch or white... with small paws... but not as smalll as mine" she said looking down at her paws.

"I have NO idea what you're talking about but we needn't run any further. The coast is just ahead of that clearing and the lion would take a while to reach us..." K'tanaqui sighed and slowed down to a walk, his body still unexhausted from the run.

Kutni sighed "i better get back home then..." she said and looked back into he forest. A shiver went up her spine and she coiled slightly. "uhh..." she stepped up and walked a couple of steps in before running back "are you sure its not there?" she asked wereily.

K'tanaqui closed his eyes and sniffed the air. "i don't smell it's putrid scent..." he mumbled, but his eyes darting everywhere cautiously. "But you want to go home so have fun" he finished, snickering.

Kutni gave him an evil look and trotted back into the forest. She got homw safely and scurried under a root to get into the burrow where she followed her mums scent. Her mum told her to stop running off and to go find her sister. She said that she would rather not... and decided to tell her mum what happened... Her Mum said she was foolish too but let it go for now. Kutni was left alone while her mum left to fetch her sister.

Fry didn't run very fast but she guessed that the lion would be in a slight state of shock anyway. 'i hope they got away' she said and then slowed into a calm walk. 'and i hope they took me seriously' she added to herself knowing that if they didn't then they'd be dead meat [literally...hehe] . She paced around until she found a small bush with boisen berries on and gave herself into her hunger. nce she was satisfied she headed toward the sea for a swim.

"Strange animal..." K'tanaqui murmured, agitated. Slowly, he turned from the direction the fox left and strolled off into the forest to get breakfast.
