{Be calm Jarth. We will find him.} Fayrenth asserted then opened her mind to all the dragons of the weyr. {We have a rider missing and probably injured. All dragons not on duty roster gather in the bowl. We'll assume flight formation for search and rescue. Healers be on standby.} She added the last since a couple of the Healers were also riders and the information would be trickled through.
Mirinda snagged a drudge on the way to the heights and sent her scurrying for the Headwoman to meet them in the bowl. Only a moment later the bowl was aflurry with a dozen dragons and twice that many people. The headwoman was in a tizzy organizing ground crews while Mirinda organized the riders.
"Ok we'll make two sections of dragons in V formation. We'll fly slow over the forest while the ground crews walk it." Miri was instructing, when T'der arrived with the weyrlings.
"Windy Class will fill out the ground crews Weyrwoman." T'der said indicating the oldest groups of weyrlings first. "The babies will stay with all the dragonets and care for them." He added and Miri nodded agreement.
"Alright any questions before we go?" Miri called to the whole group in general.
((OOC: Pause for Jarth etc then I'll get the rescue group moving.))

When there were no questions Mirinda indicated that all the riders should mount up. Once everyone was ready the signal was given and the group, almost a full wing, rose into the air on cue and sailed up and over the weyr edge breakinginto three flight patterns as they began searching. Windy class was divided up within the ground groups and sent off as well.
The dragonets, of all ages, were all gathered by the lake awaiting the youngest weyrlings. The youngest ones were puzzled and somewhat frightened by all the commotion, though some were taking it better than others.

Jarth, still with swirling red eyes swooped into the air to follow the group his mangled saddle still tied around his middle. He had no recolection of where L'ron fell. He felt terrible, having let his rider fall. If anything happened to L'ron jarth would never forgive himself

F'con watched as the search group formed. Once they were gone he went to get Taronth and another one of the older dragonets. "I hope he's okay" he exclaimed as he sat down by Xaria and Adara. "Jarth sure seemed scared." Then he slipped himself off onto the ground and streaked his hand along his dragonet and the windy class's dragonet.

Adara nodded in agreement "Me too, he seemed like a professional rider to me... however did he fall off? She asked tilting an eyebrow.

F'con shrugged i just hope he'll be alright after this... that's all." he commented and got back to trying to calm down the 'windy' rider's dragonet as so did Taronth.

"It was probabaly faulty straps." Said Candidate Master Verdaine as she stepped up to the new class of weyrlings and the myriad dragonets sprawled all about. "Jarth is known for his acrobatics, he was probably doing something complicated and the straps broke ropping L'ron." She said as she crouched next to a worried dragonet and soothed it. Just then the Candidates left from the Hatching, several had went home until the next Hatching was due, arrived with trays of drinks.
"Now you all must stay calm both for yourselves, your dragons and the other dragonets. They are worried because their partners are out in the forest and it is an unsafe place to be." She explained since T'der had goen with the Search teams and had not been able to go into detail with the group why they were dragonet sitting instead of helping search.
"I know it seems like you're not doing anything but you are. You are enabling others to help with the direct search by caring for thier partners. Without your help we would be short ten Searchers." Verdaine added as she moved on to another Windy dragonet. She found it harder than usual to connect to this youngest group of weyrlings, she had known most of her Candidates for several weeks before the Hatching but almost half of those that had Impressed were the children that had arrived, at most, a day or two before the Hatching.
Settling next to Edyth, Verdaine smiled at the young weyrlings, "So have you all chosen a name for your class yet?" She asked.

Adara looked up and smiled at Verdaine. "No, we havent picked a name yet we were voting when T'der rushed off saying L'ron was missing." She shrugged and then grinned, "But i reckon Highwinds'll win" She smiled she liked that name a lot but wouldnt get too upset if it didnt get picked. She then went on a more serious note and turned to Verdaine again. "Can you find out if they've found him yet?" She asked politely.

"I'll ask though I don't douobt we'll know when they do because most all dragons and riders will return once he's located, the ground crews will almost certainly have to transport him out." Verdaine replied and then her expression took on that glassy look that generally indicated a rider was talking to thier dragon.
"He has woken up at least once, and they are getting a fix on him now." Verdaine said once her eyes cleared and she was clearly 'there' again. "It shouldn't be too much longer."
And indeed it was only a matter of moments later and the wing of dragons began reappearing over the weyr, winging down in waves to drop off thier riders in the bowl to to land directly on thier ledges. "Ah he's been found, the ground crews will have him in a few minutes, one of the new riders found him." Verdaine said to all the weyrlings and the now much calmer dragonets.

Adara muffled a little squeal of joy as she watched the dragons land. It was a glorious sight to see them back and no sad looks on their faces which meant L'ron had been found alive and all would be well... well thing would be well after he healed at least.

F'con smiled "That's allways a good thing" he stood up and walked over to one of the Windy Class riders and gave him his dragonet "Is L'ron going to be alright?" he asked the the boy that was now caring for his dragonet.

Jarth burst from between with a flurry of cold air he flew a short distance and then turned. Hovering with his eyes fixed where the bornw should appear with his.
L'ron woke in the freezing cold of between at first he wondered what had happened and then he saw a brown above him. All was safe, so he closed his eyes again and focused on the weyr.

Fayrenth followed the brown between and reappeared over the weyr 3 heartbeats later.
The brown landed ever so carefully, keeping his forefeet off the ground since they held the carryboard and L'ron. More Healers instantly swarmed the brown and unattached the board from him. Within a moment L'ron was being wisked into the Infirmary for treatment.
