Yes the lake is easily large enough for more than one adult dragon to bath in at once. I'm thinking it's probably only about 30-40 feet deep in the deepest section though.

Ok a note about dragonet size. This is using a measurement of feet- At Birth dragonets would range from 4-7 feet long nose to tail-tip. At half growth they would vary more depending on if they are a large version of their color or not, and color of course makes a difference. Their width from shoulder to shoulder (not including wings) would be about 1/4 to 1/3 their length but at least 2 feet wide at birth. Wing span is usually 3-4 times thier body width. At birth this would mean that an average newborn dragonet with wings all the way open would measure about 8 feet from wingtip to wingtip. Please see this webpage www.geocities.com/dsweyrhold/dragon_guide.htm for a general overview of a dragon size at Maturity. Decide what size you want you dragon to be when full grown and half that to get thier half- growth or 1 to 1 1/2 turn old size. At 1 month old most dragonets would be around 8-10 feet in length and will Not fit inside a normal room. They really can't even manage hallways too well at this age unless they are on the small side and of slender build. This is why the Barracks open directly into the open air Weyr bowl and does not involve any hallways for the dragonets to traverse.

The Dragonet size note in the post above. That was the thing to read, there is not really anyway Taronth could have gone to class with F'con and no way he could climb up on a desk let alone under one. Besides they would have been told it was a dragonet free class. Hence why I removed your post, feel free to post again without the dragonet coming along

People can swim in the lake though I'd not expect it to be a major activity since it is fed by a waterfall and is fair cold pretty much all year round.

They'd probably just swim when batheing their dragons right?

Hmm let's see we are in the 4th month of the turn now and we are on the Southern Continent so...it would be Fall/Autumn. Southern Continents seasons are opposite of Norhtern just like South America being opposite of North America etc.
I had not however determined exactly where on the Southern Continent StarFall is located. It's obviously Not on the coast itself, but other than that it's not set in stone yet so....
Let's get opinions- Starfall is set in a valley the dead ends in cliffs with a waterfall pouring into the lake, the other end of the valley tapers out and eventually the cliffs fade down into... What?
Does it fade down into a grasslands type area and on the other side of the grasslands is the ocean? Does it fade down into a forested area? If so is the ocean on the other side of the forest? Or are we much farther inland that that? Does it fade down into a plain that then leads to more mountians or a forest?
Or do we do away with the fade down entirely and we'r just smack in the middle of a mountain range? (this option would make supplies travel etc more difficult.
I'd like your opinions and even alternate suggestions since this will greatly affect what kinds of weather we have in what seasons.

Yeah I like that to, but it would be better if the woods were quite big so its more then a five minute flight, know what I mean?
