The Worst Plague - PG13
In the beginning the god made the female mind separately.
In Wakima, a land where women are subjected to cruelty, slavery, and unjustness there will come a great change.
Humans live in tall cities made from shining marble. The Kitsune live purely to play pranks on the humans. The Inu huddle together in packs in the wilderness and sometimes seek shelter from the Ookami. The Neko live in the trees, dining on birds and mice that come their way. The Usagi hide in underground passages and are rarely seen by anyone. The women of all groups are tired of living in servitude. The Vixens have started an uprising, the female inu joining them without hesitation. The female neko do as they please. The human women cannot leave their husbands and fathers.
Ready for a fight, the kitsune and inu females sneek into the humans’ cities, freeing the human women, whom they call the bees, and others forced into slavery by human men. They become amazons, training themselves to fight, work, trade, and above all, avoid the human slavers.
Kitsune: The fox people. They resemble humans with fox-like attributes, such as fox ears, tails, and golden eyes. They are very cunning and live to design intricate traps and to play mind games.
Inu: The dog people. They are also humanoid with dog-like ears and tails. They live for the hunt and are also very loyal. They always repay their debts.
Neko: The cat people. Humanoid with cat ears and tails. They delight in creature comforts. They stay with someone only as long as they are provided what they want. Warm beds and hot food usually gain you a neko’s company.
Humans: The cruel people. They live in tall cities with walls to protect themselves. Over the years they have become more powerful and now, drunk with power, take not only their women into slavery, but also members of the other peoples.
Demons: The dark people. They hide in the shadows. They are not trusted by any of the other peoples and have a murderous trait that makes them blood thirsty.
Usagi: The rabbit people. They are humanoid with rabbit features. They live in underground tunnels. Human slavers sometimes light fires at an entrance to an usagi tunnel to smoke the usagi out the backdoor they always have to the tunnel.
Ookami: The wolf people. They are also humanoid but can change their shape to that of the wolves we know. They are viciously protective of what is theirs and only associate with the inu. They have no problem killing any member of the other races and have a deep dislike for the kitsune.
The Uprising
Vixen: The female kitsune have always had free spirits and wild minds. They do not understand why the females of other peoples would submit to the males and live as slaves. They are tired of watching their fellow women meekly follow their men without argument. They rally the female inu and claim the dark forests as their own.
Fae and Gyp: The female inu unite with the vixen and build tree house forts in the tangling branches of the dark forests, the dense trees occupied sparsely by dangerous demons and wolves. They also recruit several female ookami into the uprising.
Feline: The female neko are divided. Some join the uprising and some remain with their men. They are wary of the wolf and inu and, so, hesitant to join.
Bunny: The female rabbits are very hesitant to join. They fear that if they leave their tunnels they will never be able to return. But the promise of freedom is tempting so a few have joined the uprising. The bunnies love beautiful things and much of their clothing is exquisite, though a little eccentric.
Bee: The human women know almost nothing of the uprising except the scattered rumors. The vixen often sneek into the human cities, freeing only a few slaves at a time. A few bees dare to leave their cities and make their way to the dark forests. Some find shelter in the inu tree houses. Others meet their deaths at the hands of bloodthirsty demons.
Demoness: The female demons have always done as they please and care little about the other races. Only three have joined the uprising thus far and their loyalty is to be disputed.
Valan: The females together form the Valan, the warring women of Wakima. The Valan abandon surnames, which were given to them by their fathers and mates. They believe males to be inferior to females and have sworn off any connections with them except for pleasure and their own desires.
