Rules:
1.The terms 'hikari' and 'yami' and 'aibou' may be used so no one fuss about them. I know they aren't used in the actual show but that's okay.
2.When hikaris and yamis talk to each other through mindspeak all speaking should be like /this/ with the lil' slash things.
3.No romance with other peoples' characters unless they say it's okay. ((Sorry fan girls))
4. Keep in character. Yami Yugi wouldn't jump up and down with joy, for intance.
5. Keep violence to a minimum. (I have Bakura so you freaky people can't make him beat Ryou, ha.)
6. Yami Bakura will be known as 'Bakura' and Ryou Bakura will be known as, well, Ryou Bakura.
7.There isn't a seventh rule.
8. No all powerful decks. (i.e. only known cards may be used and all god cards will be in Yugi's possesion and the Seal of Orichalchos may not be used.)
9.Only Yami Yugi, Yami Bakura, and Yami Marik may have shadow powers.
10. Yami Yugi will be known as Yami and Yami Marik will be known as Malik.
11. Original characters must be requested from the RP Master(me).
12. OOC must be limited, this isn't a chat thread.
13. Be polite to others.
14. NO CHATSPEAK
15. No made ups may have a millenium item. The only ones needed are the ones created by Kazuki Takahashi.
16. To make them easier to use, the yamis will have their own bodies in this role play.

The early morning sun began to shine down on the streets of Domino, which were all but empty at this time of day.

Marea watched the sun rise from her hotel room in Domino. 'Today would be a good day for Dueling.' She thought to herself. 'If only...' No she wouldn't think about 'him'! She would focus on the here and now and put into practice everything she had learned about Dueling and life... she hoped.
A short time later she left the hotel, walking out onto the early morning lit streets looking for a bit of breakfast at one of those little street cafes...

The peircing shreak of Ryou's alarm clock caused Bakura sit upright on the couch he had slept on before he even opened his eyes. "Ra, I hate that thing," he grumbled to himself, placing his hands over his ears. The ringing noise abruptly stopped, signaling that Ryou was awake and probably preparing for school. With a sigh, Bakura rubbed his eyes and stood up. He had slept in his clothes so he had no need to get dressed. A shower would have been nice but he really didn't want to talk to his hikari this morning so he headed for the door to Ryou's apartment(ooc: I think he lives in an aprtment, it seems that way in the manga. But I could be wrong).
Outside of the building Bakura realized just how hungry he was and headed for a nearby cafe`.

(OOC: Oh My! Hikari? *sweatdrop* at least I can blame my ignorance on the character... ) IC: Marea finally found a little cafe that seemed perfect, there was only one other person there and he seemed rather absorbed in his own doings. After ordering a bagel with orange marmalade and orange juice she sat at one of the tables and began fiddling with her deck while she waited for her food.

Yes, Star. According to the masses it means 'light' as yami means 'dark'. I have no idea if that is the case but it's used quite often by Yu-Gi-Oh! fans. *shrugs*.))
Bakura entered the cafe, stiffling a yawn. He sat down at a booth near Marea and glared at her, as she happened to be sitting in his favorite seat.

(OOC: Ahh never heard anything but Yami, and didn't know it's meaning... I thought I mentioned I was way behind in the series... Sorry.)
IC: Marea got tired of messing with her deck and began to look around. Catching the glare she frowned and looked around her, who was that guy glaring at? Finding now one else anywhere close to being behind her she looked back at him.
"You have a problem?" She asked rather upset about being glared at for no reason. Just then her food arrived and she managed a weak smile for the server before he left and she returned her frown to the rude young man.

((It's never used in the series, being a japanese word. Only fans use it so it's not surprising you havn't heard it. The word aibou is also popular among fans, it means 'partner'.))
"Yes, actually," Bakura retorted, continuing to glare. "It's you." He grabbed a passing waitress by the wrist and ordered a coffee before releasing the unfortunate the now rather freaked out girl.

"Oh! As if! Rudeness is not a word in your vocabulary I see." Marea huffed and without a second thought stood and changed seats so that her back was now to the exceedingly rude person.
Fuming to herself she tore off a bite of her bagel and tried to think on something else... it had been such a nice morning until then.
(LOL my she's got a mind of her own ;D )

Waitress came back with the cup of coffee and nervously sat the cup down in front of Bakura. Bakura glared at the girl before taking a sip of the coffee. The poor waitress scurried off immediatly. Bakura smirked to himself before pulling out his deck and looking through his cards.

Marea finished her bagel as quickly as anyone could finish such a chewy breakfast. As she stood to go pay she shot a glance at the rude man of before, and if her jaw had dropped any further she'd had probably tripped on it. Snapping her mouth shut she went to pay fuming silently. 'How could such a rude person be a duelist!' She wondered her mind in a tizzy... still maybe he was new too, maybe she could defeat him at a duel... She finished paying and slowly started out of the cafe.
Torn between challenging another duelist and wanting nothing to do with such a rude person she was not paying the best of attention and kicked a chair sending it skidding across the floor and causing her to hop up and down holding one foot in pain. "Oowwwowwwowwwowwww!" She exclaimed keeping her more caustic thoughts to herself.

Bakura glanced over at Marea and his smirked widened. "Well, that was smart," he snickered. "Remind me never to let you play musical chairs."

"Oh stuff it." Marea replied sourly. As if she'd meant to do it. "Owww..." She muttered more softly as she sat back down in a chair and nursed her now sore foot. "Stupid freaking idiots and thier rudeness." She muttered under her breath.

"Idiot?" Bakura blinked. He crossed his arms. "I wouldn't call someone an idiot unless you have the evidence to prove it, girl."

Marea snorted and looked at the young man again. "In my opinion anyone that has to be rude to someone they don't even know is an idiot. And since I'm entitled to my own opinion I don't have to prove a thing to anyone." She said and with another 'Humph!' of frustration stood and walked off, with only a teensy bit of a limp, hoping that the next person she met was not nearly so rude.

Bakura scowled and picked up his coffee, stuffing a few dollars in the waitress's hand, and exited the building as well, brushing past Marea as he went.
