(((Double post, Chance?)))
Kratos looked up suddenly. "So you'll join us?" he asked, realizing only then how much he'd spaced.

((Eh, sorry, meh comp was being stubborn.))
Bakura sighed and nodded. "Yes. But if we lose this, Kratos, I'm holding you responsible."

(((lol)))
“And I take full responsibility for it.” Kratos sounded far more confidant than he really was. …Can I? Can I really take responsibility for other lives like this? What right do I have to…No! No, I cannot think like that. I am not taking responsibility, it is being given to me. And I must accept that. Yes…That is what it is. They are joining me. I am not forcing this upon them…It is their decision. And they have decided to trust my plans.
…Even if I do not. Doubt and worry hung over him like dark clouds of disaster. But he would not let it show. No. If they choose to follow me, then I am their leader. A leader cannot show any weakness, any second thoughts. He must be confident. I…must be confident.
“Good. Now, Bakura…This was my plan…” Kratos began to fill Bakura in on what was to happen at dawn tomorrow. He detailed on how he would use energy to call Draco using the statuette in his hand. He mentioned how he wanted to wait out the time Akhor had given them, to rest and recuperate enough to prepare for what was to come. He told of how Draco would remove their marks, and restore the two demons’ and his own energies, but would not fight the dragon himself.
Basically, he retold Bakura everything he had told Sesshoumaru, Ame, and Ryou, in a condensed version.
Turning to everyone, he addressed them all. “I know you may be hesitant with an encounter with another dragon…but, I assure you, Draco is not at all like Akhor. Are there any questions, comments, or anything anyone wants to say at this point?” he offered, looking from face to face to see reactions.

Sesshoumaru knew he would be apprehensive meeting Draco. He had only seen the dragons of Fire and Ice a few times, and so he did not know what to expect.
He kept his silence, noting the hodge-podge of emotions that Kratos was exuting. It was annoying, but not unfounded. The man was probably under great pressure.
Pressure that Sesshoumaru had at one time in his life come to know. He wished that he could ease it and help Kratos, but it was not in his nature to do such a thing.

Bakura looked thoughtful. "This could work," he agreed softly. "But will a dragon really help us? From what I've seen of them, they aren't the kindest creatures."

"Yes. I have every confidence that it will. Draco is...a sort of personal friend of mine. He will help us. Not all dragons are as malevolent as Akhor."

Bakura shrugged. "If you say so, but I still don't think the scaley beasts can be trusted," he grumbled.

Kratos smiled. "Understandable. But you don't have to trust him. Not past removing your bonds, at least."
(((Okay, we've really gotta wrap this up, so we can get it back to the new site)))
