(((Alrighty, then...Let's get this party started!!)))
I'll leave this post here in case StarDragon wants me to post rules. I think I can just warn people if I think they may cause a problem when they RP here, rather then spending aeons typing a huge set of rules...
Edit by Star: Just putting in a few basic ones, nothing big or unusual.
Rules: Follow Chance's General Rules! No God-Moding (even the Greek Gods have limits) No Chat speak Play fair, Play nice, Have Fun!

Ah, here we are...the intro--
*Ahem*
Hades was sitting on his throne, looking down over his realm. He sighed in lamentation--it would be one more, full, month, before his beloved queen Persephone would come down to his dismal kingdom and brighten it with her liveliness. Though his heart ached at the sight of her sadness as she entered the Underworld, his love for her was simply to great--he could not let her go.
He stood, and surveyed the land around him once again.
Hades' throne was not in a palace; it was in the open air, on an elevated platform high above the floor of the Underworld. From his vantage point, Hades could see a vast portion of his kingdom. In the distance to his left were the bright flames of Phlegethon, which obscured Tartarus from view. On his right, he could see the beginning of he Elysium Fields. And, between the two, lay his (mostly) faithful guard-dog, Cerberus, and the river Acheron.
Suddenly, one of his servants came running up the large, sweeping staircase that arched up to his throne.
"Lord Hades..." he began, bending down on one knee to show his respect. "There are...new souls for you, sir...please, they are eager to receive their judgement." The servant dared not look up, for fear disrespecting his Lord--he knew that, during the last few months before Queen Persephone came to the Underworld, Lord Hades could be very quick to anger, or offed. Rather, the servant kept his head bowed, speaking at the floor of the platform.
"Very well. Rise, you may leave." Hased walked over to and stood before the young shade. The shade rose, nodded curtly, and hurried down the steps, breathing a sigh of relief only after his feet had touched the solid earth of the underworld floor.
Hades remained where he was for a short while, looking out over Erebus. He could see the souls of which the servant had spoken. He counted five...No, six...Six souls, waiting to be judged. Very unusual...he thought. Quite a few to have died within such a short time span.
He began to decend to stairway that lead to the ground, somewhat pleased to have a distraction from his lamentations of his Queen. He knew it would take a while to judge each soul.

*OOC Note: Hades is going to judge only the people of Greece--none of this "Judging the whole world's dead populace" thing--he would never have time to himself...
**2nd OOC Note: A shade is what the Greeks refer to a ghost, or spirit, as.
***3rd OOC Note: Erebus, if you haven't already figured it out, is where shades wait to be judged by Hades.

Actually I am kinda a stickler about some rules, just the basic ones, so I'll just edit those in up top and leave any additional Hades specific ones for you when you need to add them

(((Is anyoen else going to post anywhere here? This isn't going to be like Dragons Fire and Ice where I make up a book for Hades to do until someone decided to show!! lol...*Thinks of the super-huge intro Kratos and Tristan went through in wonder* How did I ever do that...? )))
(((Can someone offer some Greek names for these shades? I don't know enough Greek names to be able to make up one. )))
