"Hnngh." August grunted, swinging herself over the banister of her stairs. After a short 3 foot fall, she landed on her feet, barely recatching her balance in the short hallway before the kitchen. She went into the kitchen, got a large mug from her cupboard and filled it with water. She ran a hand through her auburn hair, certainly aiding in it's naturally disheveled appearance.
She almost jumped at the sound of mail hitting the small mat in front of her Mahogony and brass door. "Gha. Don't do that again." She said, apparently to the mail that came through the slot in her door every morning at about 8:13 A.M. She picked up the mail, sifting through the surprisingly few bills she had that morning.
She was about to toss it aside apathetically when a letter caught her eye. "Miss August Mae Weinglass..." She muttered, wondering how the sender knew her middle name. She broke open the envelope, reaching over to her mug and placing it in the microwave. She unfolded the letter inside with one hand, pressing buttons on the microwave with her other. To August Weinglass From Lord Charles "Monty" Hailstone Dear Miss Mae, the letter began. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at how she was addressed. Very rarely did someone call her Mae, even if she did prefer it over her other Monthly name.
You're most likely contemplating how I knew your name, much less your middle one, Miss Weinglass. She nodded, though abruptly stopped upon the realization she was nodding in reply to an inanimate object.
I'll leave the answer up to you. You're a smart girl, I do believe you'll figure it out. August blinked once, making sure what she was reading was true. This Hailstone guy sounded /crazy!/
Of course I do. I can't say I'm as sane as I once was. At that point, August was almost tempted to burn the letter and wish it were a dream.
But on to more important matters. I'm offering you a job. You'll find me easily enough. The pay will be quite ample, should you complete my task. She almost opened her mouth to speak before reading onward. She soon left her mouth hanging open. Though, I'll also leave what kind of job it is up to your knowledgable self. I'm sure your natural need for knowledge will motivate you. I'd advise calling someone from the following list of Scientists. August's eyes darted downwards momentarily, memorizing the names and numbers the best she could. I now feel as if there's nothing left to write. Your tea is 10 seconds away from being done, I hope you know. Hopefully you'll have a teabag in hand.

Dean glanced at the clock. Ten minutes before his transformation. He could feel the serum boiling in his veins, as it completed it's guards around the wolf-cells. He scratched the back of his neck, anxiously. He hoped that letter had been a mere insane man's attempt at good humor... but then how would he know about.... It wasn't important. Dean had to find his muzzle, incase the serum didn't work as planned when the woman showed up.

At six thirty an old brown volvo pulled up in front of Dean's home and a slightly plump woman in her early forties got out, a big grin on her face. She had mousy brown hair that was tied back in a bun and wore an odd yellow outfit that featured many sunflowers. Whistling, she knocked on the door.

Dean wagged his tail at the door, and barked twice. The muzzle contained any speech he had, so he assumed the barking would suffice. The black wolf staired longingly at the door. He wasn't a full werewolf, infact, he seemed quite the lovable puppy when he tok his serum on time. He held his paws to the door, and barked again.

The woman smiled to herself and opened the door. "Why, hello there, Dean," she greeted, bending down to his height and holding out a hand. "Patty at your service, I'm your escort. Monty sent me."

The dog placed a paw in her hand, and wagged his tail happilly. He barked again, and bounded off in the direction of the car.

"Hm. Leones Chimera. Zoologist." August muttered under her breath, stirring cream into her tea. She brought her tea into an adjacent room, the closest one with a phone, placing the mug on a side-table. Sitting down, she picked up the cordless phone, dialing Leones' number.
It was ringing. So far, so good. Maybe Hailstone wasn't making it all up.

"Now, wait up!" Patty called, hurrying after him. She opened the door to the passenger's side for him. "In you go."

The wolf hopped in the car, and put his front paws on the da=shboard. e barked again. This bark sounded very similar to the words 'Lets go!'.

"Righto', go we shall," Patty said cheerfully, getting in on the driver's side and starting up the car. "Hold on tight." She sped out onto the road, provng to be quite dangerous behind the wheel.

Jane was late, like always. It was her first interview for a job, she was meant to be there at 9.45am and it was already 9.00! "Professor whats-her-name wont be pleased." She grumbled to her self as she sleepily headed to the shower.
She was out dressed and fed but now her left shoe was missing. "Where is it?" She asked her cat Tinkerbell who just looked at her from the comfortable position on the couch. "Fine then be useless." She smiled as she headed to the front door of her apartment to see if the shoe was there. Instead she found letters. Bills, she had only been here a few weeks and they were piling up already. Flicking thought the small bundle she noticed a yellowish parchment, different to the normal white envelopes. Pulling it free she set down the rest of the mail on the table. As she moved back to her room to search for her shoe she studied the envelope addressed to her. Taking it out she read To Miss Jane Lembit From Lord Charles "Monty" Hailstone Dear Miss Jane Wane The letter began, Jane shook her head, this was something her brothers would call her.
Yes, as I thought you might think of your brothers first, but no Jane I am not Arnold or George. She almost burst into laughter, her brothers had not been called by there birth names since, well, since they were born.
I must say you were the lucky one. "If you say so" she muttered, hardly agreeing that Jane Willmadella Lembit was a lucky choice of names.
Any who, off the subjects of naming, I have an offer for you, one I think you would like. Jane wondered if she would, but she read on.
A job offer in fact, I told you would like it. Saves you from heading out to see Miss Whats-her-name again, its Professor Winchestervillvill, by the way. How did he now she was of to see Professor Wincen...Winchu..Whats-her-name?
Never mind me knowing any such thing at the moment, this letter is to tell you that you could possible have a job involving the things you love, but I wont go into it. Jane nodded
I Ahh thats a girl, a car will be around to pick you up at 9.45, hurry because you don't have much time.
Lord Charles "Monty" Hailstone
P.S You may bring Tinkerbell, I'm sure she would love to join us all. Jane smiled, she wouldn't leave Tink anywhere. Turning over the page Jane checked to see if there was more, good thing she did because right down in the bottom left corner was another piece of writing
P.S It is under the bed. Jane was puzzled but looked under the bed anyway and there in the middle of the shadow of her bed was her left shoe.
