Note: This was a project for my English Class. We were supposed to take this picture, and add dialog to it. With my luck, i got a picture with a bunch of Looney Toons characters. I didn't especially feel like writeing about how Bugs once again foiled Bad Yosemite Sam's Plan, so I did a little thinking, and came up with this odd tale. I hope you enjoy. There are some odd criteria's I had to fulfill, but i won't bore you with teh details
The Bugs Bunny Gang
The notorious members of the Bugs Bunny Gang lounged without a care in their new-found desert hideout. They had just returned from a huge bank heist with bags filled to the brim with coins in tow. Hundreds of dollars lay scattered about their feet. The four of them, excluding Roy, their get-away driver, still appeared as the characters they masqueraded as during their robberies. Each member wore a costume depicting a Looney Toons character. Bugsy, the leader, always dressed as Bugs Bunny. The other various members wore separate costumes of their own. The outfits had always been a trademark for the gang, and, of course, were the basis of the name.
Roy, the gang’s Daffy Duck, currently drove around the richer part of town, taking orders from Bugsy by cell phone. By Bugsy’s command, Roy was to kidnap a young child and leave a ransom note demanding money.
As Bugs dictated directions to Roy, the other members counted out equal shares of money, laughing and telling stories. Little did the group of outlaws know the sheriff had followed them.
The sheriff, a small, stout man with a bright orange mustache and large bushy eyebrows, snuck closer to the group of busy ill-doers. His golden star glistened in the bright sunlight. Sheriff hid behind a large rock, dangerously near the camp. The gang, too busy to notice the stranger in their midst, carried about their business as usual.
“So, I’ve finally caught up with the infamous Bugs Bunny Gang,” the sheriff chuckled to himself as he rested a steady hand on his gun.
“Hey!” a gang member dressed as Tweety Bird called. “Bugsy! The sheriff followed us!” The yellow canary sat stationed as lookout in a tree near by. From his vantage point, he could clearly see the hidden man.
Bugsy looked up to see the policeman. “You’re all under arrest!” the sheriff yelled, finally drawing his pistol. Thinking quickly, the gang leader dove for a bomb, and lit it instantly. He threw it towards the sheriff screaming: “We’ll never surrender Coppers! Hey Roy!” he shouted into the receiver, not waiting for the explosion to follow seconds after. “Cancel that kidnapping! We need a get-away car!"
The white van came skidding to a halt minutes later, finding a major shoot out between the Bugs Bunny Gang and the local police force. “GET IN!” Roy exclaimed, throwing the van’s doors open in one swift movement. The gang members piled in the van as they yelled for Roy to step on it. Sam, the gang’s Jr., could not help but wonder why the sheriff always had to foil their plans at the most inopportune moments, but didn’t have much time to ponder these thoughts.
When the gang finally reached a safe distance away from the scrambling policeman, Pedro, dressed as Speedy, let out a sigh of relief. “Anyone else think the sheriff had a remarkable resemblance to Yosemite Sam?” he asked, stifling a laugh. “It’s kinda ironic actually….”
