Well.... This is my first contest.... but I guess I'll start with rules:
A few rules if I may:
1. No Godmoding!
2. R-e-s-p-e-c-t!
3. Literacy is nice.
4. Intro needs to be DETAILED! I like it when you explain what they look like, thier body type, general personality, etc. That way I don't have to go all the way to profiles to get a general feel for your character!
5. Cursing… It's..... okay..... but it has to make sense..... and fit your character...... Plus it's filtered! HA HA..... I don't want every other word to be a curse though because that gets annoying!!
6. Use ooc when you are out of character.
7. Use grammar and punctuation. Use quotation marks when your character is talking.... We all go to school here.... I'm assumeing
8. No chat speak!
9. Weapondry- Go with my details there
10. There WILL be some fighting in this RP.
11. You may NOT control other people's characters. If I find the rp is moving too slow I can control thier characters, but you cannot
12. Only the characters I have created may be used. There shall be no exceptions (unless someone pms me with a really awesome character)
13. I have the right to throw you out of the rp if I want to. Especially if you break any of these rules. Have a nice day.
I am pretty leanient (sp) with my rules. I'll give you several warnings before I actually chuck you.
However, if another member complains you are out automatically.... this also goes hand in hand with not complainging about other people because you will get them thrown out. Of course I have the judgement to look back on what they did, and descide, but we'll not go into that..... dude I can contradict myself
Setting: Egypt in the 1920s. Mostly in the ancient Egyptian ruins of Nekheb, and Edfu (a near by town).
Main Plot: A noted archiologist became lost, and presumably died in Egypt searching for Nekhbet's Tomb. Years later his son, Eddie Harrison, is on the same quest. It is rumored the tomb is filled with enough gold to feed everyone on the Niles for the next 500 years. This rumor has brought several gold-hungry search parties, all coming back empty handed. Eddie, however, is going for a completely different reason. In his father's journal he found information stating clearly that the tomb led to a hall of gods, which give the secrets of god like power, and imortality. Now he and his cousin Norman seek the hidden city Nekheb, and the Vulture's Tomb.
I hope that works. Characters to be posted momentarily
