Pub in Edoras
Elihoir Endoil now took residence in Rohan. He knew no elf in their right mind would look for him here. The only elves that knew he was there were his family. He now sat in a pub a couple miles walk from his home. He came here often, but was rarely reconised. He kept to himself in the corner. It was in this bar he heard a rumor about a house outside of Rivendell being burnt to the ground. This caused him to worry some. He sat with his black cloak over his head listening to the conversation.

Relliv Eyewatch slowly rode up through the ríddermark with his patrol. The group of seventy Rohirrim had traveled many days and nights over the plains. From the East Emnet to the Fords of the river Isen, with no sign of Orcs. This was unsettling for him and his new regional commander. No sighting of orcs or rogue Dunlandings meant trouble was brewing. The tension like this had been brewing right before the invasion of Helms Deep. "Alas we may rest Erándor" Relliv said happily to his riding partner as they rode up the path towards the hilled city of Edoras. "You may see your daughter once more before our next patrol." Erándor nodded solumnly. He was aging slowly, nearly double Relliv's own age, and his skills were soon to confine him to the stables, teaching the younglings to ride like his forefathers before him. "It's been a winter since i last saw her last, It'll be good to see how much she has grown" They were covered in shadow as they passed under the Edoras Gatehouse and the patrol drew to a stop. Relliv dismounted his faithful pinto, Glénha, and patted her mane affectionetly. "How old is Jahlia?" Relliv asked politly, subconciously grooming his steed. He was referring to Erándor's daughter when he spoke. "Fourteen winters" He replied stonely. "She's old enough to wed now i see? Any suitors?" Relliv said passivly. "Aye...but none that i'd approve of. I'd rather she chooses from her heart" Relliv patted Erándor on his back warmly. Nodding his agreement. He took Glénha's reins and led her towards an awaiting stable where part of his patrol had headed, Taking her to sleep and rest.

Relliv, his riding gear slung over his shoulder and helmet under arm, strode into the Edoras Tavern. Erándor was behind him, his green cloak sweeping the grass as he moved. They entered the warm environment and stretched, tired from their patrol "It's good to get out of the cold" Relliv said, grinning before flopping down at an empty table. Erándor joined him briefly, placing his helmet on the table he called a barmaid over. "Two meads" he said briefly before turning back to this companion. "Indeed. This tavern is relativly popular around here...I heard the service is good." Relliv couldn't help laughing, drawing gazes from the people around them. "You don't remember this place do you?" he said smirking. "This was the place where Thengal first met his wife-to-be. Been very famous here since that day" "Dont lecture me Relliv" Erándor said stonely. "Let's just drink to being home and retire to our families" the older man said before taking the flagons of mead from the barmaid who was standing beside them with their order.

Elihoir's attention drifted to the soilders. He lifted his hood alittle high so you couldn't see his eyes.

After downing their meads, the two men stood up. They picked up their helmets from the table and promptly left the inn. Relliv was glancing around the tavern as he followed Erándor and then his gaze found a hooded person in a corner. Curiously, he tapped Erándor on his back before he got out of sight and gestured with his hand to come closer. "What is it boy?" Erándor said irritibly. Relliv pointed at the hooded figure in the corner of the room. "What of him?" the older man said, sighing. Relliv knew his curiosity would be the death of him, but something disturbed him about that figure. "I'm going to see who it is." Relliv said finally. Erándor grabbed the back of the boy's cloak, stopping him in his tracks. "Make any rash actions boy, and be warned" he said in a low growl. Letting go of the boy's cloak, Erándor stood back and leant against the door frame to see what the boy did. Relliv slowly walked up to the figure at the table and stood infront of him for a while, with no response. "You know" he said quietly, so only the figure could hear him. "It's common curtesy to remove your hood when indoors"

Elihoir looked up,"What's it matter to you if I keep my hood up or not?" he inquired.

Relliv frowned. "You sound like no one from Edoras". Relliv knew most of the people in Edoras, and, living here for a long time, you could pick up the distinct accent most Rohirrim had adopted. This voice was clear cut...flawless... "Like i said it's common curtesy..."
