Bakura glared at Yami. "Don't see what his problem is, I was only telling the truth." He glanced at Marea. "Hey, you're that girl from the cafe," he noted with a smirk. "Should I warn the chairs that you're near bye?"

Marea flushed hotly as the rude guy's comment hit home. "Ignore him Marea, just ignore him." She said to herself trying to not lash back at him. She didn't want to look like a rude person in return. She'd be mortified if the first impression Yugi Moto ever had of her, and probably the last one, was of a snippy comment, even if the other guy had started it. Still she simply couldn't just ignore it.
Gripping her deck tightly, a kind of security measure, Marea managed to calm down and could feel the color leaving her face. Finally able to face the two she turned to do so. "I might have know someone as rude as you would attempt to bother someone as intelligent as Mr. Kaiba or Mr. Moto. Is it some kind of weird way to make yourself feel more important I wonder?" She mused almost as if talking to herself though she spoke quite clearly enough to be heard easily by them both.

"Mr.Kaiba and Mr. Moto?" Bakura pretended to look thoughtful. "Oh, don't tell me you're referring to Rich Boy and the Pharaoh. Trust me, I don't need to make myself feel important, I happen to BE important." In his mind, maybe. He laughed at the absurdity of the girl. "Obviously, while you have recognized the Royal Pains, you don't recognize me. Pity. I could beat Rich Boy if I tried." He didn't say anything about the many times Yami had put him to shame in a duel.

Yami rolled his eyes at Bakura's cockiness. "You seem to forget, Bakura... While you may or may not be able to beat Kaiba, you have always lost to me," he said, thinking, 'There's living proof that some people never change. He's still the arrogant fool I remember from Egypt...'

"You probably cheat," Bakura muttered sulkily. This was entirely untrue, of course, but Bakura was not above accusing to save face.

Yami sighed, dropping his hand into his pocket and fingering his deck as he took another sip from his soda. ((BTW, is this RP after Yugi/Yami gets Slipher the Sky Dragon in his deck, or what? Just wondering...))

((Actually, I'm thinking it's after Battle City so Yami would have all three god cards in his deck.))

((Okay, cool. Thanks. I have two of them, in Japanese, in my deck in the real world. One of my friends, who's really good with identifying trading cards and such says they seem to be fake, though. ;.; Oh, well. It's not like you're allowed to use the God cards in real-world duels, anyway...))

Bakura glared at Yami for good measure. With a sigh of resignation he leaned against a lamp post. "Okay, so I can't really see you as the cheating type..."

Yami chose not to respond. What reason would he, the Pharaoh, have for cheating? Bakura just couldn't accept the fact that he could never beat Yami.

"Pharoh?" Marea echoed quizzically but shook it off as the two continued to trade insults. "If you're so good I wonder why you get beaten every time by Mr Moto?" Marea said instead with a rather haughty smile. "But if you'll excuse me, I have things to get done today." She said and turned to leave, she was not about to get into another verbal match with anyone and make herself look bad in front of someone as famous as Yugi Moto.

"Cause he's the bloody Pharaoh," Bakura returned grumpily. "He's the King of Games, he always wins." He crossed his arms. "You think you could beat me, girl?"

Marea wasn't about to assume that she could beat him, even if he was rude as could be. If he was good enough to play against Yugi Moto more than once, and if Yugi thought he might beat Mr Kaiba. Well it was unlikely she'd be able to beat him but she also wasn't about to admit that so openly.
Thinking of what her favorite female duelist would do Marea almost grinned to herself. Affecting disinterest she merely waved off the question as she walked away. "Another time maybe." She called back over her shoulder and continued on down the street. She rather thought Mai Valentine couldn't have done it better herself.
