Will turned to her and smirked, accepting the look. "Well, there's only one way to find out," he said, returning her cloak.

Most of the pirates had retreated belowdecks, but Jack remained outside. Leaning against the railing at the bow, he looked around. "Still not really my first choice for a safe harbor..." he muttered to himself. He grimaced and grabbed onto his hat as the rising wind threatened to snatch it from his head.

Taking his love by the hand, William Turner dashed out into the rain, shop door clattering closed behind them from the wind. His brown hair and smudged shirt were soon plastered to his skin as the rain ran in icy rivulets down his entire being. He had to release her hand to sheild his face from gusts of wind. Pelted by raindrops and illuminated by flashes of lightening and the curious moon, they made their way toward the docks of Port Royal. Will looked back to see how Elizabeth was faring, how she was keeping up.

She kept up farely nicely. She only slipped once and caught herself by grabbing Will's shoulder. She started laughing at herself. She kicked off her boots so she could run better.Beneath her cloak her white nightgown was sticking to her skin. She looked at the docks.

Waves lapped hungrily at the shore beneath the docks, and the wood could be heard creaking, groaning in protest to the wind and water. Will slipped his arm around the young woman's waist, as if afraid she might be swept away, using the other to sheild his eyes as he scanned the shady horizon. He could only make out vague blurs. "That it?" he half-shouted to be heard, pointing.

Of course, Jack wasn't yet aware of Will and Elizabeth's presence. He was still holding his hat on his head as the wind whipped his hair and beard around his face. He winced slightly as a couple of the beaded strands smacked his face.

Jack looked around again. His eyes fell upon two figures on the docks. He squinted. "Are they who I think they are?" he wondered. He couldn't be sure; the rain was much too thick... but they looked like Will and Elizabeth...
(('Cuz they are, duh! Sorry... Random outburst there... ^-^U))

Will laughed and agreed. That certainly did seem like the Jack Sparrow they knew. He waved a dripping arm above his head, scattering more droplets.

Jack saw one of the figures waving, and a quick grin spread across his face. "It is them!" he said to himself as he made his way to the gangplank((or whatever it's called... ^^U)), still fighting the wind. Approaching Will and Elizabeth, he shouted to be heard above the storm. "Been a while, hasn't it? How's life on land treating you, Will?"

"Not as exciting as sailing, to be sure." A grin was spread accross the smith's face. "I see you're surviving well... What brings you here, Jack?" As it was becoming am exchange of shouts, Will hoped they could move soon.

Elizabeth looked up at the deserted ship."You sail this bloody thing all the way here by yourself." she asked shouting over the wind.
