The expression on Jack's face was one of mock hurt. "She's not a 'bloody thing', she's the Black Pearl, luv!" he informed Elizabeth. "No... The crew's down below, out o' the storm..." He looked at Will again. "To be honest, the only reason I'm here in the first place is because neither my crew nor myself wished to sail any longer through this storm..."
((What does Jack call Will, again? I can only remember that Elizabeth is "luv"... Please help! ^^U))

((Just "Will", I think. Sometimes "dear William" when he mentions him to Elizabeth. "And where is dear William?"))
"D'you, or your... crew, want to come ashore? My shop's not much, but it's dry." He distinctly remembered the peculiar band Jack had been sailing with when last they had met. He could no longer feel his extremeties, though he was aware of his contact with Elizabeth. His body had grown numb to the relentless wind and rain.

Jack nodded, a look of relief obvious on his face. "My crew didn't want to risk coming ashore here, but I'd be glad to accompany you to your shop, Will," he said gratefully.

Will smiled and turned back the way they had come, leaving the ship bobbing on the lessened waves of the harbor. Lightening silhoueted the dangerous crests the Pearl had traversed earlier. Warm light filtered from the shop's small dirty window, marking their haven, along with the flapping sign above the door.
((Do we have an over-protective Governor Swann yet?))

Jack followed Will and Elizabeth. It wasn't so much the weather that bothered him... It was something more along the lines of, he didn't want to risk the Pearl getting too damaged in this fierce storm.

{{No but I'll do him}}
Govenor Swann walked towards Elizabeth's bedroom.He simply just wanted to check on her again.He had removed his wig and was in his nightgown.He was barefoot and held a candle in his right hand.He knocked on the door."Elizabeth?" he called quietly.

She breathed in a sigh of releif when they reached the shop.She didn't take off her cloak though.Her white nightgown was too wet and to revealing.

((Thanks))
A small gasp escaped the startled maid's lips as the Governor's voice came through the doorcrack. Sarah had been sitting on the edge of the bed, daydreaming and watching the low fire in the fireplace. The flames and sound of the rain had almost lulled her to sleep, despite the thunder. A hundred excuses ran through her head dizzyingly. But what if he asks to see her? Or to talk with her? ... He doesn't have to know I'm here!... People sometimes commented that she and Elizabeth looked similar. Now would be a test to see how far that really could go. Quick and quiet as a mouse, Sarah let down her hair, and dove under the bedcovers. She didn't have time to change, so she stuffed her bonnet under the pillow and made sure she was completely covered, wrapping her servant-attired-self in a sheet under the quilt. She had just enough time to blow out the candle before burying her face in the soft cushion.
A wave of dry warmth greeted him as William opened the door. He quickly cleared another bench as he ushered both his unexpected bedraggled guests inside. "What a night," he said, mostly to himself.

Jack had to agree. Storms like this didn't come along often, not even on the open seas... He wrung out his sopping beard and clothes, then swept a bow to Elizabeth. "The lady must sit first," he said with a grin.

Will turned to hide the fact that he was rolling his eyes and pumped the bellows a few times to rewaken the sleepy embers in his forge. Shimmering heat wavered over the coals.

Elizabeth sat down pulling her cloak around her.
He opened the door and looked in."Good night Elizabeth" he said shutting it back.

Sarah waited for the clickof the door before letting out the breath she had been holding. Afraid to move, though the Governor seemed to be gone, the maidservant stayed tucked within the warm and safe folds of the sheets. I'll stay here... Just in case... It wasn't long before the natural inclination of sleep overwhelmed her.
